Powdered potato flakes are made from fresh, washed non-GMO potatoes. The powdercontains 95 % potatoes. To produce the flakes, the raw potatoes are washed and steam-cooked. The resulting mashis then dried over rollers. For powdered potato flakes the finishedflakes are ground.

Powdered potato flakes are used in pastry production, baking mixes, soups and instant foods. They are suitable for use in vegetarian foodstuffs and for "no additives" and "no sulphites" product grades. They can be stored under the right conditionsfor 12 months.
