1. which data we process

In the course of your visit to this website, we will receive the following information: The date and time of accessing a page on our website, your IP address, the name and version of your web browser, the website (URL) you visited before accessing this website, certain cookies (see point 2) and that information which you yourself provide by contacting us. There is no obligation to actually provide the data that we ask you to provide on our website. However, if you do not do so, you will not be able to use all the functions of the website.

a. Hosting and log files
To operate this website, we require hosting services such as infrastructure and platform services, computing capacity, storage space, database services, security and maintenance services. We or our hosting service provider process data of our website visitors such as contact data, content data, usage data, meta and communication data due to our legitimate interest in a satisfactory and secure website offering. For the same reason, we or our hosting service provider process so-called server log files (e.g. website accessed, file, time of access, data volume, browser and operating system information, referrer website, IP address, user provider). Log files are stored for a maximum of 12 months for security reasons (investigation of misuse or fraud). If it is necessary for evidentiary purposes due to an incident, data may be stored for longer. We have concluded an order data processing contract with our hosting provider.

b. Use of Weglot
Our website uses the translation service "Weglot" from Weglot SAS, 7 cité Paradis, 75010 Paris, France, to provide multilingual content. When a page is loaded, your IP address is transmitted to the Weglot servers in order to provide the corresponding language version. Weglot's servers are located within the European Union in data centers that comply with EU data protection regulations.

LinkedIn
We operate a company page on the LinkedIn platform of LinkedIn Ireland Unlimited Company, Wilton Place, Dublin 2, Ireland, and are joint controllers for data collection within the meaning of the GDPR. The permissibility of data transfer to the USA is based on the EU adequacy decision of July 10, 2023 (EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework). When a member visits, follows or interacts with our company page, LinkedIn processes personal data to provide us with page statistics. This data may be transferred to countries outside the European Union. The page statistics provided to us consist of aggregated data, and notwithstanding any joint controller, LinkedIn will not provide us with any personal data of members in relation to page statistics or enable us to trace page statistics back to individual members. We operate the LinkedIn company page for marketing and communication purposes on the basis of our legitimate interest (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR). Xing
We operate a company page on the "Xing" platform of the company New Work SE, Am Strandkai 1, 20457 Hamburg, Germany. Within the meaning of the GDPR, we are jointly responsible for data collection. When a member visits, follows or interacts with our company page, Xing processes personal data to provide us with page statistics. This data may be transferred to countries outside the European Union. This is done on the basis of EU standard contractual clauses. The site statistics provided to us consist of aggregated data, and Xing will not provide us with any personal data of members in relation to site statistics or enable us to trace site statistics back to individual members. We operate the Xing company page for marketing and communication purposes on the basis of our legitimate interest (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR). 7. duration of storage

Server logs: We generally store your data for a period of 30 days. Longer storage only takes place if this is necessary to investigate identified attacks on our website.
Contacting us: Your data may be stored for up to 6 months. In addition, statutory retention periods are observed.
