The global market for pea proteins will reach a value of 176 millions USD until 2025.

This reflects a growth rate of around 33% between 2018 and 2025 and an average annual increase of 7,7%. A growing global population, an increasing awareness for personal health and the introduction of innovative new products do enhance the further growth of the pea protein market.

Isolates with a high amount of protein represent the largest part of the industrial turnover, a market segment which is going to extend at a rate of around 22% p.a.
Nutritional supplements are the largest area of application, with a growth rate of 24%. Characteristics such as the high amino acid profile, excellent emulsifying properties, good water binding capacities and a high solubility do support the application of pea proteins in the food industry.

Pea proteins do carry all essential amino acids necessary for healthy body functions. They are 100% vegan and lactose-free and are hence very well suitable for people with allergies and/or food intolerances.
